Saturday, June 26, 2010, 8am to 10am

At Clovis EV Free Church

Clovis, CA 93611

Used book sale will take place outdoors so bring sun protection – hats, sunblock, umbrella 

WHAT TO BRING: If you are a seller: arrive at 7am to unload your books, set up your blankets, canopies, folding chairs; bags –plastic or paper for your customers, small money change, calculator, note pad to track your sales if you wish. 

If you are only a Buyer: remember to bring cash in small bills to make your purchases, bring your wish list and rolling cart or backpack to carry your purchases in, bring a water bottle and sun protection.  Just some ideas.

Remember: Our desire is to leave the church site cleaner than we found it. ALSO, WE NEED A VOLUNTEER TO DO THIS USED BOOK SALE EVENT FOR NEXT SCHOOL SEASON. RIGHT NOW, WE HAVE NO VOLUNTEER. IT IS EASY. PLEASE SOMEBODY COME FORTH. Thank you. Sally Motsenbocker

9:40am – 10:40 am 
Part 1 Introduction to Homeschool: priorities, schedule, recordkeeping, what to know before attending a convention,

10:40am – 11:40am
Part 2 – Panel of Homeschool Moms: answering questions                    on curriculum, recommended children’s reading list, what a day                  looks like, whatever concerns new home school teachers have

Part 1 and 2 will be led by Sally Motsenbocker, 
Tanell Herbert and Charity Vincent

9:40am – 10:40am  
Part 1 – Cynthia Leonardo  Seminar: shares her experience and wisdom in teaching the high school years and preparing for college. Bring $10 check if you would like a copy of her packet mailed to you after the seminar. 

10:40am –11:40am 
Part 2 – Cynthia Leonardo Seminar: continuation of teaching the high school years, preparing high school transcripts and much more.
                     
11:45 am– 12:45 pm Lunch break – bring 
your snack lunch or dine out

1pm – 1:45pm  
Panel of Dads: answering questions from the audience

2pm – 3pm  
Jerre Reis: Yes, you can home school your highly distracted child.
Jerre will so encourage you.
